Keepin' It Country Magazine + New Music brought to you by the fans, for the fans!

WHAT WE ARE!
We first began as a group of girls creating an independent magazine called 'Keepin It Country.' We've had the honor during our original issues of doing features on Taylor Swift, exclusive interviews with artists such as Suzi Oravec and Terry Lee Bolton, offering concert reviews from the fans, album reviews, holding fun contests for people and more. Since our original creation of the magazine we've decided to expand on the things we have to offer and do a huge revamp, thus merging from The Rum Chasers, to Rum Chaser Records :-). Our new, revamped version of the magazine will be available once again beginning October 1!

OUR NEWEST PROJECTS! Over the past few years, the Internet has revolutionized the music industry in so many ways. Extremely successful bands are getting first discovered through their Myspace pages, web sites like CDBaby are allowing independent artists to market and sell their own singles and albums, bands are forming through networking sites and simple computer programs like garage band and jam studio are allowing people to track and record their original music with studio-like quality at a very small fraction of the costs of doing so in a professional studio. It recently occurred to us that with all of these forward movements in the way music is made and distributed, why not bring all of these things together and create an avenue/portal that will optimize an independent musician's success? If you're an independent artist and this sounds like a good fit for you, let us know and chances are we'd love to work with you! We're currently working on our own debut album and we're really excited about it!
